Tel Aviv is a paradise for people who like to eat whether you prefer a fancy gourmet restaurant or simple fast food you can always find something to your
taste.

Tel Aviv is a great place if you like food and appreciate fresh products and gourmet restaurants. You can find here a variety of foods : Mediterranean, Italian,
French, Chinese, Japanese, American, Brazilian, North African, Romanian, Balkan, Argentinean, Indian, and sea food of course.

You can find food not only in restaurants but also in cafes, bars, pubs and clubs.
Some of the places are a cafe in the morning a restaurant at noon and a bar at night, the bottom line is wherever and whenever you go out in Tel Aviv you will never be hungry....

Most Restaurants offer Lunch Deals called here "business meal" which is a fix menu at a reduced price usually on week days between noon to 4 or 6 pm. It is very worthwhile to go for it :-) if you are on a budget.

If you decide to go to a specific restaurant I recommend to make a reservation by phone, especially for evening meals.

Humus – a dish made of chick peas and served in a plate with tehina in a few variations – best eaten with a fresh baked warm pita bread.
Falafel- fried balls made of chick peas stuffed in a pita with tehina, salad and other things at your choice
Sabich – fried eggplant and potatoes all in a pita with tehina hard egg and more ….
Tehina – a sauce made of sesame
Shakshuka – eggs in spicy tomato sauce you usually get on a plate
Jachnun – Yemenite dish – dough baked all night and served with kind of tomato sauce in a plate
